Before reporting any story, a journalist has to fully understand it. But climate change is complex. The UK-China Climate Change Reporting Workshop Series provides journalists with an understanding of the interlinking social, security, economic and political issues arising from climate change and the necessary professional skills to report on these issues.

Since March 2007, more than 400 journalists from around China have received training as part of the Climate Change Reporting Workshop Series. The workshops include:
