各位地球村村民, 大家好! 我是中六生陳啟立, 來自佛教沈香林紀念中學.

在香港, 我經常參加不同類型的體育和學術活動. 今年, 我參加過一個演講比賽, 傑出學生選舉和是次由英國文化協會舉辦的專題研習比賽. 巧合地, 三個活動的主題同是與環保有關, 可見, 保護環境已成為香港和世界各地的”全城熱話”.
 
言語是綠葉, 行動是碩果. 若果要減緩地球氣候改變速度, 我們就要把減排工作付諸實行而非空口講白話.

我很高興成為是次綠色之旅的其中一分子. 這個絕對不是觀光團, 此行, 我們要學習內地市長, 公司以及政府如何在減排工作發揮作用. 之後, 我們是有責任把此行的所見所聞向身邊的家人, 朋友, 學校, 甚至社區傳播開去. 我肯定是次經驗絕對可以幫助我們把環保意識宣揚開去.

環保工作絕對不是為了奉承”綠色奧運”. 作為地球村的一分子, 我們一定要付全力, 並以可持續發展的大方向去改善地球的環境; 作為富裕的新世代, 我們要學會如何節儉以及對抗消費主義生活模式.

Hello, every global villagers! I'm Kenny who's the secondary six student that come from Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College.

In Hong Kong , I've joined many activities which included sports and academic competition. This year, I've joined a speech competition, the election of outstanding students and this programme. Coincidentally, those three competitions that I've joined were about"Eco-awareness"; this shows"being environmental friendly" has become a hot topic in Hong Kong, even the world nowadays.

Deeds are fruit, words are but leaves. I deem that if we hope to retard the speed of climate change, our action must be down-to-earth instead of just discuss the matter.

This moment, I'm very excited as I have the chance to be an affiliate of the "Green journey". This is not a trip for tourists. During the trip, we will learn how the people, businesses and the PRC government to take measures to combat the change of climate. Afterward, we have the responsibility to share our experience and opinions to our families, friends, schools, even the government in Hong Kong. I'm sure our experience can help to spread out the message of"protecting the earth".

Being environmental friendly is not just the action of "Green Olympic". As a member of the global village, we must pay all our effort to improve the environment via sustainable methods. As the teenagers of a rich generation, we must learn how to be frugal and fight against the consumerism.

I'm looking forward to having a enjoyable and substantial time during the trip. Thank you!
