In 08/09 the focus of the Climate Cool initiative will be on action. Climate Cool activity will promote individual action and behaviour change to reduce carbon emissions and tackle climate change. A number of creative and innovative activities are planned throughout the Climate Cool - Media, Education and Society programmes.

  Topics include Climate Change and Economic Development, Low carbon Cities, Climate Change and Low Carbon Olympics and Sea Level and Urban Planning

  An online resource for journalists providing them with updated information on climate change issues, e-learning training platform and a sustainable media network.

Climate Cool Green Your School
  Project will be expanded to 6 cities around China, and a televised Green Your School National Grand Final is scheduled for November, 2008.

Our Green Journey
  Our Green Journey is a chance for our Young Ambassador's from mainland China and Hong Kong, together with International Climate Champions from India and Japan, to travel around China by train, visiting environmentally responsible schemes and organisations. They will use it as an opportunity to reach more young people around the country and encourage them to get involved with combating global warming. They will keep a video diary and share best practice.

Consumer Behaviour Survey
  This large scale survey will ask our target audience to examine their willingness to become more environmentally responsible and identify what would inspire them to change their behaviour.
