Climate Change - Media aims to enhance the skills and provide the online and offline resources needed by media professionals and postgraduate journalism students to enable them to accurately understand and report on climate change.
 
 
Medalist of the UK-China Climate Change Media Award Scheme


With strong support from the media, the 2009 Climate Change Media Award Scheme ended with great success. This year we have made great progress in the number of participants and the level of work compared with former years. Here we would like to show our great appreciation for your active participation. In order to encourage media workers to participate more actively, report on climate change intensively and support our “Climate Cool” activity continuously, we added the number of winners especially. After nearly a month’s hard work, the jury panel chose 9 winners of “Best Works”. They were funded by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy to participate in and report on the Copenhagen United Nations Climate Change Conference. They are:

The Jury panel also selected 14 winners of “Outstanding Works” to be funded by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy to participate in the Media Green Journey and report on it. They are:
