Climate Change and Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting Workshop
Does corporate social responsibility only include some public relation strategies? How is corporate social responsibility tested through global warming? How should media workers appraise corporate social responsibility correctly?
In order to help the media to provide scientific and objective coverage of the topic, the “Climate Change and Corporate Social Responsibility Workshop” jointly held by the British Embassy and the Embassy of Sweden observed a grand opening in Westin Hotel in Beijing on November 25. Enterprise representatives in the industries of energy, finance and resources, Climate Change experts and policy experts as well as transmission specialists in relevant fields from England, Sweden and China provided a deep understanding of corporate social responsibility for friends from the media industry. Through case studies, live interaction and combat simulation and based on the multi-angle and all-round perspective, they led us to understand a new field which is to be learned and experienced by the media.
This was a project of the second stage activities of the 2-year “Climate Cool” jointly held by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy and China Science and Technology Exchange Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Please refer to the courseware (Oct 25 morning; Oct 25 afternoon), PPT and course schedule of the Workshop for detailed information.
